KODA Youth Camp (Ages 9 -12)

A space for hearing children of Deaf parents to connect, grow, and celebrate their identity

The Camp Mark Seven (CM7) KODA Teen Camp is a special place designed specifically for hearing children of Deaf parents to explore and celebrate the dual worlds they navigate every day.

Led by experienced CODA counselors who share similar life experiences, this unique program offers a supportive and understanding environment for campers to embrace, discuss, and strengthen their KODA identities through shared experiences, creative expression, and community building.

About the Program

This immersive two-week camp takes place in a fun, recreational Adirondack setting, encouraging interaction, teamwork, and self-discovery. Campers will enjoy a wide range of activities, including:

• Swimming and tubing

• Overnight canoe and camping trips

• Outdoor games and team challenges

• Arts and crafts

• Hiking adventures

• Evening bonfires and social events

• Day trips to Old Forge and New York’s largest waterpark – Enchanted Forest Water Safari

Talent Show & Family Involvement

A highlight of the KODA Teen Camp is the Talent Show during Parents’ Night. Working together, campers develop creative skits that express their experiences and perspectives as KODAs.

This culminating event is filled with laughter, reflection, and pride — as families are invited to attend and celebrate their children’s journey of self-discovery and connection. The evening’s shared stories and performances truly capture the heart of the KODA experience and the bond within the CM7 community.

Need help with tuition?
Please complete the Tuition Assistance Program Form and/or BIPOC Campership Application online by March 1, 2026.

Cost & Registration

Tuition: $1,700 per camper (two-week session)
Includes: lodging, all meals, daily activities, canoe trips, excursions, and evening programs.

Arrival: Sunday at 1:00 p.m. (please do not arrive earlier or the day before)
Departure: Saturday by 10:00 a.m.
