Adult Deaf Camp (Ages 40+)
Featuring a Special 3-Day Pickleball Clinic with Deaf PPR-Certified Coach, Billy Mauldin!
We’re excited to announce a special three-day pickleball clinic led by Deaf PPR-certified coach Billy Mauldin — designed for Deaf adults ages 40 and up, open to all skill levels!
In addition to the pickleball sessions, the week will offer a wonderful mix of outdoor and indoor activities — perfect for relaxing, connecting, and enjoying the beauty of the Adirondacks.
A Week of Relaxation, Activities, and Friendship
Experience a memorable week surrounded by the peaceful beauty of the Adirondack Mountains, overlooking Fourth Lake. Our historic lodge, the former Mohawk Hotel, is over a century old and has been lovingly transformed into a vibrant, rustic retreat for Deaf adults to recharge and enjoy the bounty of nature.
Participants can choose from a variety of activities each day — whether you prefer quiet reflection by the lake, active recreation, or social connection with new and old friends.
About the Lodge Rooms
Camp Mark Seven offers 72 beds total. Most are bunk beds, so we limit registration for the Active Deaf Adult Week to approximately 36–40 participants to ensure that each camper can have a lower bunk whenever possible.
Rooms are typically shared by two campers, though occasionally a third or fourth person may be assigned if needed.
-
The men’s bathroom (with toilet and shower stalls) is located on one floor, and the women’s bathroom on another.
-
Parking is available on-site.
-
Please bring your own bed sheets (or sleeping bag), pillow, blankets, and towels (for both shower and waterfront use).

Accessibility Notice
We want every camper to enjoy their time at Camp Mark Seven to the fullest. However, because our beautiful site and main lodge are more than a century old, some areas are not fully accessible. The camp does not have elevators or accessible pathways to the beach or lawn areas.
Adult campers should be able to climb stairs to reach dorm rooms, the dining hall, and other common spaces, and navigate uneven paths and hills between the Lodge and the waterfront.
