Hello, my name is Bella Sterly and I am the Camp Director at Camp Mark Seven. I hope you’re ready for registration day. It’s coming up soon! I want to let you know about a few new things to expect this year.

Last year we received some feedback about our previous registration program. A few people let us know that it wasn’t really accessible or user-friendly, so we looked around and found a new program that seemed like a good fit for us called iCampPro. This program can be used on a laptop, phone, or an iPad. It really can work on any device, so it seems like a good fit for us!

On past registration days, we typically experienced a lot of people coming to register at the same time and then the website kept crashing on us. We’re hoping to change it this year to two registration days. The first registration day will be on January 5 and this will be for Deaf Camp, and then on January 12, one week later, that will be the registration day for KODA Camp and the adult programs. We hope this will be a smoother experience for all of you going through the registration process.

On January 5 at 12:00 PM, registration will open for the Deaf Youth Camp and then at 1:00 PM registration will open for the Deaf Teen Camp. Then one week later on January 12, registration will open for the KODA Youth program at 12:00 PM and then the KODA Teen program will register at 1:00 PM. Then at 2:00 PM all the remaining adult programs can register.

With this new registration program, we suggest that you go in and set up your account ahead of time. You can also set up your “household” on the website. That’s where you’ll add in any potential campers their names, their birthdates, email, and phone number. Get everything ready. Then once you go in on registration day, everything will be ready to just click right through for a smooth process.

Once you are finished with registration, you’ll see a success message pop-up on your phone or laptop. Once you are done, you’ll get an option to continue on and fill out forms if you want to. Those can also wait until a later time. Those forms are all online on iCampPro, except for one form. The medical form is separate. The medical form must be printed out, filled out, and signed by a doctor and then scanned and emailed back to us at Camp Mark Seven.

On registration day if a program fills up, we suggest you go ahead and sign up for the waitlist. The waitlist typically has some movement into the programs. If we can move you into a program, we will contact you through email as soon as possible.
