ASL and Deaf Culture Immersion Week (Ages 18+)
Have you ever wanted to experience the world of American Sign Language, the excitement of ASL Literature, and the wonder of Deaf culture all in a beautiful environment with views of a shimmering lake in the forest of the Adirondacks?
If you say YES! Then this “ASL and Deaf Culture Immersion Week” will provide all that along with fun activities following a specific theme featuring special guests and Deaf professional actors.
This program is designed for ALL adults aged 18+ who are ASL students, interpreting students, parents, certified interpreters, or any adult who wish to enhance their receptive and expressive ASL skills.
CEUs provided! For those who have children, a children’s program with adult supervision is available.
We provide breakfast, lunch, and dinner each day except for Arrival Day – dinner only, Departure Day – breakfast only. Parking is available on site. A typical room of two bunk beds for 4 or 5 with shared bathrooms are available for you to use. Bring your own bed sheets (or sleeping bags), pillows, blankets, and towels (for shower and waterfront).
