ASL Family Week (Parents/Children with Ages 3 and up)
This week is open to all families (deaf or hearing parent(s) with deaf and hearing siblings ages 3 and up) who want to learn how to use American Sign Language (ASL) with their family members. Conducted entirely in ASL, there will be half-day ASL classes for all families. In the afternoon, families will interact with other campers who are other programs during the same week. Campers will also have free time to enjoy and explore various activities such as boating, swimming, hiking, field trips and more in the unparalleled beauty of the Adirondack Mountains.
We provide breakfast, lunch, and dinner each day except for Arrival Day – dinner only, Departure Day – breakfast only. Parking is available on site. A typical room of two bunk beds for 4 or 5 with shared bathrooms are available for you to use. Bring your own bed sheets (or sleeping bags), pillows, blankets, and towels (for shower and waterfront).
